Founded in 2007 by local artist Patty Look Lewis, the gallery affords an in-depth view of Santa Barbara’s seminal artists of the last fifty years, and is the exclusive representative of the estates of celebrated collage artist William Dole, world-renowned Channing Peake, and acclaimed abstract painter Selden Spaulding.

The intimate space is located in the heart of the historic downtown art district.
Special exhibitions feature mid-century Santa Barbara icons and other established American and international artists. Exhibitions focus on these and other established artists from the U.S. and Europe, such as the legendary photographer Jesse Alexander. Patty Look Lewis’ own pastels are also shown in the gallery.
Many of the artists shown are known personally to Lewis, whose family has resided in the Santa Barbara area for five generations. Artists featured in the gallery share Lewis’s love of nature and color, qualities found in her own vibrant pastels.
