Pat Brodie has been creating gardens in Santa Barbara for the past 18 years. She has an eclectic design style and draws inspiration from Asian as well as traditional European gardens.
Originally from the East coast, Pat Brodie began her studies in landscape design and ornamental horticulture. Having spent 4 years in Japan and traveling throughout South East Asia, many of her gardens reflect these design influences, but her gardens always represent the Santa Barbara style.
Pat is known for creating a mood, a place where people tend to linger and explore beyond what may be around the corner. She strives to inspire all who enter the garden. She is a highly regarded garden designer and a knowledgeable plants woman.
Pat’s work has been featured on many local garden tours, her garden projects have be published in Sunset Magazine, LA Times, and on Home and Garden Television.
