Davis & Taft’s fusion of antique and modern pieces reflects a concept that is relaxed, simple and playful. Owner, Leanne Baker, selects the inventory carefully to keep a balance between edginess and familiarity, re-introducing traditional pieces in a fresh, new way that somehow makes modern furnishings seem more nurturing and accessible.

The idea behind this is simple – she wants to encourage people to shift their perspective on home interiors. Ms. Baker’s advice is to have fun, think outside the comfort zone, combine and re-combine in different ways, break the rules, make new rules – above all, enjoy yourself.
