Davis and Taft

This attractive Montecito store features a pleasing mix of antiques and 20th century modern pieces. Furniture is selected for its quality and simplicity. The effect is vibrant, fresh and timeless.

After 13 years in business, owner Leanne Baker moved the store from its previous home in Summerland to the Upper Village. Expect to find 18th century commodes mingling with 20th century Danish credenzas. She collects the items she from her travels, and believes combining new and old elements helps to create a stylish and more personal approach to design.

The ever-changing selection of distinctive lighting fixtures is priced reasonably (starting at $200.) and includes Italian designers Joe Colombo, Harvey Guzzini, Massimo Vignelli, and Reggiani. Table lamps, torcheres and mid-century hanging fixtures blend in with quality art, glassware, chairs, tables, mirrors, and decorative accessories.
